Post Painting or Post Workout Watermelon Refresher!

Not only delicious but beautiful! After a session in the studio or following a good workout I can think of nothing nicer than a cool refreshing drink to #rehydrate! I have read lots about the benefits of #watermelon and I know that #coconutwater if a great way to rehydrate. Here is a #recipe I made a few days ago as well as a variation today. My husband loves to and appreciates a nice glass after a long bike session or training. It only takes 5 mis to make or like me, you make a pitcher to keep in the refrigerator. By the way, on a hot summer night, this is a great base for a #watermelon #martini!



Deborah's Watermelon Splash!

Blend 4-5 cups of fresh watermelon

Add Coconut Water to thin (I added about 3/4 of a cup)

Add the juice of 3 limes

Pour into glass, squeeze alittle more lime on top then add some #freshbasil or #freshmint


Today's Variation: Same as above but added about 4inches of #cucumber and a quarter size #freshginger! Garnish with a slice of cucumber, Super yummy!
